Dolores Cox is a dedicated professional and compassionate leader serving as an Executive Assistant for Dr. Patricia Poitevien in the Office of Belonging, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. With a strong educational background from Katherine Gibbs Business School, where she specialized in legal executive assistance, Dolores brings a wealth of expertise and commitment to her role.

In addition to her work at Brown University, Dolores is a certified lactation consultant, passionately advocating for and assisting women with breastfeeding. Her dedication to maternal health extends into her community, where she serves as a vital resource for new mothers.

Dolores’s multifaceted career includes over a decade of self-employment as a licensed cosmetologist, where she specialized in natural hair and locs. Her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to her craft have left a lasting impact on her clients and community.
